SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER
Mandi Runnells is a seasoned public safety professional with over 20 years of experience in support services and emergency communications. Her career began at 18 with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, eventually transitioning into dispatch where she rose through the ranks to become Dispatch Manager.
Throughout her career, Mandi has served as a Communications Training Officer, POST-certified instructor, and Adjunct Instructor at Riverside Community College. She has overseen CAD and radio operations, mentored countless professionals, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
In 2021, Mandi was elected to the California National Emergency Number Association (CALNENA), representing over 400 dispatch centers. She co-founded the State Dispatch Legislative Committee and “911 Goes to Sacramento,” advocating for dispatchers statewide. In 2022, she was appointed to the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services Long-Range Planning Committee.
Mandi also serves as Vice President of Growth and Development for Kim Turner, LLC, where she mentors and trains public safety professionals nationwide.
In 2023, Mandi joined the Menifee Police Department as Records Manager. Her leadership, experience, and forward-thinking approach led to operational improvements and enhanced internal procedures, ultimately earning her a well-deserved promotion to Support Services Manager.
