Lateral Police Officers

Not everyone can join our team—we’re looking for the best lateral police officers. To ensure this, applicants must complete a series of examinations, though some positions may not require all exams.

Interview

We’ll meet you to find out who you are and see how well you’re able to answer questions.

Psychological

You’ll take a comprehensive written psychological exam, and then you’ll be interviewed by a psychologist.

Background

We will review your criminal, educational, credit records, and more.

Polygraph

You’ll complete a polygraph examination to ensure you are honest and possess integrity.

Medical

You'll be examined to make sure you are healthy enough to perform your duties.

Police Recruit Hiring Process

Joining our team isn’t for everyone—we only consider the best candidates. To ensure this, applicants must complete a series of examinations, although not all exams are required for every position.

For police officer applicants, you’ll perform a series of physical tests to make sure your fit for the job.
