The Menifee Police Department is partnering with MilVet, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources to enrich the lives of active-duty military members, veterans, seniors, and families in the community, to host a packaging event and resource fair. On October 5, 2024, we invite the community to help us pack 200 care packages to active-duty military members. Additionally, local veterans and first responders will be able to stop by a resource fair with information on numerous local and government resources for a variety of needs.

Beginning August 12, 2024, you can drop off requested items for the care packages. Some of those items include:

  • Beef Jerky
  • Protein Bars
  • Canned Meat
  • Candy
  • Chewing Gum
  • Chapstick
  • Wet Wipes
  • Deodorant (Men & Women)
  • Travel-size Q-Tips
  • Shower Gel
  • Shampoo
  • Letters of Support
